Mmmmm....More Cheese

So as long as I'm seeking out the cheesey videos of my youth, I thought I'd showcase the cheesey goodness of yet another member of the Whalberg family. Although, please note that Marky Mark does make several appearances throughout this video. But seriously, this was the New Kids attempt to change their image from bubblegum boy-band to "tough" and "serious" artists. I don't think it worked. The video Ho's all look like they were plucked right from the local mall and told to look control themselves, and the ones who look bored were probably paid "professional dancers" (cough cough Stripers) who were told to look impressed. What's sad? the fact that I still like the song. What's even more sad than that? the fact that I can still recite every word of the rap in the middle of the song on command. What's more sad than that? their little "gangsta" rap that called out all the New Kids "haters" was supposed to prove to everyone that they are "serious hip-hop" artists. That got them about as much street cred as Vanilla Ice. Maybe a bit more. I don't know about you, but I sure wouldn't want to meet little Joey Joe McIntire in a dark alley, he might bust a cap in my ass.
